ExpressBook is a suite of accounting and business solutions, comprising ExpressBook Business Ledgers – a general ledger multi-currency, multi-company double-entry accounting software with standard and bespoke features. ExpressBook is fully IFRS-compliant and comes loaded with standard IFRS Statements and general financial reports.

ExpressBook Business Ledgers is meant to provide not only the standard accounting solution but also handle specialised tasks not usually found in mainstream accounting software. The software was designed and built to provide practical, easy, and affordable financial and business management tools for Medium to large enterprises as well as government business enterprises that fall within the scope of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). STANDARD APPLICATION MODULES

ExpressBook Business Ledgers Standard Edition comes with the following standard modules and Utilities:

  • Cashbook (Receipts, Payments)
  • Standard Journal

  • Auto Journal (entries are automatically posted on the due date)
  • Cross-Currency Journal
  • Periodicals (with separate modules for Prepaid Expense/Accrual, Deferred Earnings, Amortised Payment, and Fund Placement. All the entries are automatically posted on the due date.
  • Employees’ Current Accounts (with Cash Requisition/Disbursement sub-modules)
  • Accounts Receivable (with integrated Sales Order Processing)
  • Accounts Payable (with integrated Purchase Order Processing)

  • Automated Schedules and unattended entries include Auto Journal, Periodicals, and Fixed Assets Depreciation schedule.
  • Cross-currency Receipts/Payments – Invoice in Foreign Currency while Receipt or Payment is in Local currency – with automatic computation of Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss.
  • Automatic Computation of VAT, Withholding Tax, etc.
  • Menu-level Permission security that allows each menu item to be locked against unauthorised users.
  • Associating Vouchers with Invoices. You can associate or link any Cash Payment or Receipt with an existing Invoice and automatically update the Invoice Register.

THE PAYROLL ADD-ON

ExpressPay is a stand-alone payroll solution that can be integrated with the ExpressBook Business Ledgers to provide seamless accounting for salary and wages without the need for manual Journal entries.  ExpressPay is a robust and flexible multi-currency Payroll that allows each employee to be paid in any currency. It also provides for salary remittances to multiple bank accounts, among many other special features.
